Thursday Night Birds Showdown

Tomorrow the Eagles travel to Seattle for Thursday night football.  I can’t find Bill Simmons’ pick anywhere yet, but I’m guessing it’s something like “Seattle at home + No Vick + No Maclin = take the points”.  Bodog does have numbers though, so here are the picks.  Luigi says to just barely take the under of 43 (projecting 42.8 points, for what it’s worth), it’s worth taking the Eagles moneyline (Seattle is +140, Philly -160; Luigi says the Eagles win 68% of the time), and it would avoid picking against the spread of +3 but if you have to, lean towards Philly (projecting Philly by 3.8).  For those of you who are curious, Luigi is 7-2-1 in games Seattle has played (both losses happened to be early in the season) and 7-3 in games Philly has played, so there’s some chance it has a good read here.  Maybe we should expect the push.
