Everything was gravy this week after getting to see the Lions win in person on Thanksgiving Day. But let’s see how the models did, just in case that gravy turns out to be tasty. If not, I’ll console myself with thinking that there’s no way the Lions can blow the playoffs two years in a row.
Bill Simmons finally had an off week, going only 5-11 for an overall record of 100-90-2. The models had comparatively decent weeks to catch up a bit. Luigi went 8-8 for an overall record of 90-100-2, Yoshi 1 went 7-9 for an overall record of 87-103-2, and Yoshi 2 went 8-8 for an overall record of 84-106-2. So the models are still a bit back of Bill, and there are only 3 weeks before it becomes a ‘guess who doesn’t care about week 17’ slate, but they might be able to draw even. That would be pretty decent.
Luigi went 6-6 against the SBR lines for an overall record of 67-66-5. Yoshi 1 went a much more depressing 3-6 for an overall record of 59-74-5. Yoshi 2 went 6-7 for an overall record of 59-76-5. The consensus picks went a Yoshi 1-inspired 1-5 for an overall record of 38-45-4. Not a great season.
On SuperContest picks, Luigi went 2-3 to break a short positive streak. That puts his overall record at 29-36. Yoshi 1 went 1-4 for an overall record of 28-37. Wrapping up, Yoshi 2 went 3-2 (hooray positive!) for an overall record of 32-33.
